Remember when I said that The Blue Ferret Kids was shelved indefinitely?

I have a new update and now it is in public domain. I don't want to do anything about that scrapped project anymore and pretty much everyone can do whatever they want. Go make a horror series or continue that project. I really don't mind.

For those who don't know:

What is The Blue Ferret Kids?

Set in 2012, it featured young campers named Timothy Kemmernotta, Edwin Griefer, Cody Morsel, Croc Hernandez Dukey Terbull and Evan Maxwell as they go on an adventure on Gruckle Forest, which is full of mysteries.

Occasionally, they compete with the Yellow Sunflower Girls, which consist of Cherry Weiss, Evangeline Maxwell and Edith Borscha.

Why it was cancelled?

I originally started the idea back in 2012 after I got inspired by Camp Lazlo and Gravity Falls. By 2020, I tried to pitch it and make it happen. Unfortunately, due to the spontaneous planning and poor management, I decided to cease the production for good in 2022.

Yeah I know, Blue Ferret Kids flopped due to mismanagement. But I guess I'm just going to drop and say I'm now focusing on a different project and I'm mostly working on it alone since it's more easier.

Anyway, it's called Patsy n' Crinkles and it's gonna be a point-and-click game. It's mostly inspired by old NES games and a bit similar to Princess Maker when it comes to strategy. You explore around Old Dots City, working or buying things, or maybe talk to the NPCs.

CHARACTERS

PATSY

The protagonist of the game. The game uses second-person POV and the player takes the role of Patsy. They are genderless and goes by any pronouns.

Aside from busking around, they prefer sleeping all day in the couch or staying at home.

CRINKLES

The deuteragonist of the game. He is the polar opposite of Patsy. While Patsy is an introvert, Crinkles is an extrovert.

He often drags Patsy into exploring Old Dots with their Honkmobile.

PATRICK GENARDIER

The two's cranky manager. He wants everything to be punctually as possible and he easily gets mad, especially if they're three minutes late.

Despite all of that, he often fails to monitor their whereabouts if they go somewhere else.

PLANS

As of now I'd say the game is like 70% finished in terms of the basic gameplay. I'm trying to aim to release at least a demo around next year.

Possible ideas would be:

• A suspicious travelling businessman who would randomly appear similar to Princess Maker 2
• Minigames
• Possible side-plots

I have to say that about the Blue Ferret Kids, the project is shelved indefinitely due to the lack of writers and I somewhat had lost interest continuing it.

I'm really apologize for everything. I decided to pitch it without any preparations and I think it was a huge mistake.

So yeah, I'm really sorry.

I don't really post stuff that much but about my series the Blue Ferret Kids, the pilot might get delayed since I got busy with other things (and I couldn't write the script because I always get writer's block)

So I'm sort of looking for a writer to help me write the script. If you know somebody, please let me know!
